Have you ever waited on something without exactly knowing what to wait for? Have you ever been bored out of your mind even though you actually have TONS of things to do (e.g. two papers, a Bachelor's Thesis, reading, research...)?
Well, I am waiting. I am waiting RIGHT NOW. I don't really know what I am waiting for. I guess I just want SOMETHING to happen. I've done all sorts of things today but my restlessness has kept me from being totally at ease.
I spent several hours on the internet looking at Trinity Evangelical's websíte. I looked at all the pictures (again), I listened to the last audio sermons (again), I pictured myself being baptized... I read the newsletter. I guess I am up-to-date now. But I am still gonna miss out on everything. That's why I checked my emails, facebook and myspace about a million times... I continued on YouTube, found Brent (see last post) and some awesome Hillsong United songs, did some "research" on them, went on to Amazon.de to order some of their records as MP3 downloads... it was just one of those days.
I decided to take Matthi out to dinner. I feel really guilty that I didn't get him a birthday present yet (his b-day was May 18th!).
I counted the days till November even though I know exactly how many days there are left:
154 days -- November officially starts
159 days -- Jerry's birthday
173 days -- Pam's birthday
174 days -- Jaron's and Tristin's wedding
175 days -- Brent's birthday
179 days -- Thanksgiving
183 days -- November is over. (I'll have missed out on all the fun by then.)
Then, I decided to count the days for events that are in the nearer future:
12 days -- Swerline and Baker anniversaries. (Lalala, got something for M&D!!)
27 days -- Adrian's birthday (Oops, need to send the package soon!)
31 days -- Cathi returns to Germany. (YAY, can't wait!! Miss her a lot!)
59 days -- 5-year-dating-anniversary with Matthias (really? TIME FLIES BY!!!)
65 days -- my parent's 25th anniversary (woohoo, so much planning do to!)
101 days -- my very own 3-year-annversary :)))
113 days -- my Mom's birthday
Did you notice that I didn't include things like 24 days until I have to turn in my Bachelor's Thesis. Lol. Yeah, I guess I don't wanna put things like that on my list of great events... I am so retarded!
If you can think of anything else to count while I am waiting on things that will never happen, please let me know.
Maybe I should start counting things like: so-and-so many days since I got married, since I received the last email... :)
BUT, believe it or not, I did have some fun moments today: I talked to Julia, Cathi, Jule and Jeanny today. Oh, and I skyped with Barbara AND I had an awesome dinner with the hubby. Guess it's not all a drag! ;)

Stop procratinating! You're so lucky you still got 24 days till your thesis is due. Right now I'm hating myself for all that procrastination I did.
