I am German because I was born in Germany. I am American because I was born again there. I combine two cultures and until recently I thought it to be a curse. It's not! It's a blessing to be a Germarican.

Here we go...

This is what it all comes down to: I'm on my way to Berlin right now. My visa application interview is tomorrow at 8.45 am.

I am nervous but I know I shouldn't be.

Looking forward to seeing Kathrin in just a little bit... She will calm me down.

Things will go just great - I hope! Praying for a YES but I know it's not in my hands and it certainly isn't about what I want.
